We are proud to recognize Brennan Bringelson, a Prairie High School senior who leads with determination and heart. Brennan plans to attend Northeastern Junior College following graduation as he continues building toward his future.

Whether on the field, enjoying trapshooting, working on cars, or spending time fishing, Brennan brings focus and dedication to everything he does. His senior quote reflects his mindset perfectly: Never let fear stand in the way of opportunity.

Prairie is proud of you, Brennan. We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the next chapter. You will be missed!

G R E A T• E I G H T + ON TO STATE!! Your Prairie Mustangs are region 6 champions and headed to the Bank of Colorado Arena on the Campus of University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. The tournament starts on Thursday. Because of this, there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, March 12, so the ENTIRE community can make the trek to Greeley. GO MUSTANGS!

Both teams have advanced to the {SwEeT 16}. Girls game starts at 5:00 this evening with the boys to follow. It's time to pack the home gym one more time this season. GO MUSTANGS! Our sophomore class will be serving Pizza in the concessions tonight! 🍕

100th day of school!!!! Fun in Kindergarten!!! We found 100 eggs, counted to 100, and read a 100 word story!! We also ate a fun 100th day snack!!!! Yippee 😃 100 days smarter!!

Following the Girls game this afternoon, our boys team takes the court! It's going to be a GREAT night of MuStAnG bAsKeTbAlL!!

🖤💛 **PRAIRIE COMMUNITY — IT’S REGIONAL TIME!** 💛🖤

We LOVE having our students in the building and we want the gym packed with as much **Black & Gold** as possible tomorrow as our Mustangs compete for a trip to STATE! 🐴🏀

With that being said, students will need to either go home after our early release and return for the games, or have a parent/guardian present to supervise them between dismissal and game time. There will not be staff available to supervise students during that time, as our staff and teams will be preparing for the games.

Our building will be bursting with teams and fans all day long, so to help everything run smoothly:

✨ The auxiliary gym will be CLOSED
✨ No running or playing in the hallways

Let’s represent Prairie with pride, class, and LOTS of Mustang spirit! Fill the stands, be loud, wear your BLACK & GOLD, and cheer on our teams as they battle for state!

Prairie is hosting Regional Basketball on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6, 2026 — and it’s going to be an exciting two days of competition!

3:00 PM– Prairie vs. Cheyenne Wells (Girls)
4:30 PM – Prairie vs. Mile High Academy (Boys)
6:00 PM – Springfield vs. Cotopaxi (Girls)
7:30 PM – Peetz vs. Denver Academy of the Torah (Boys)

📅 Friday, March 6

5:00 PM – Girls Championship
6:30 PM – Boys Championship

*Please note: If Mile High Academy or Denver Academy of the Torah win on Thursday and advance to the championship, their game will be played at **1:00 PM on Friday, March 6**.
