Happy 100th Birthday to The Great Gatsby!! The American literature class finished the year by studying this timeless American classic. F. Scott Fitzgerald embodies the American dream in his character as he states, "...(Gatsby) had an extraordinary gift for hope, a romantic readiness such as I have never found in any other person and which it is not likely I shall ever find again."
