Miss Nicole Ludgate has been Mrs. Bailey's teacher's assistant in 3rd grade the last two years. Last week the 4th grade class and the 3rd grade class helped her decorate her graduation cap by adding their fingerprints. "Once someone touches your heart their fingerprints will last forever!" -unknown author 🥰
She is going to be become a fantastic elementary teacher. Thank you Nicole for all your patience and love you gave to these students! 👩🎓 We wish you the best of luck as you prepare for graduation and start college next fall!

🐣Second grade had some new classmates last week. Over the last month we incubated eggs and hatched seven chicks! They were quite loud, liked being read too, and were really fun to have in class. 🐥
**Senior Sunday**
We are proud to celebrate Tyler Troudt, a Prairie High School senior who has demonstrated leadership, commitment, and school pride throughout his high school career. Tyler has been actively involved in FFA, FBLA, StuCo, and Sources of Strength, while serving as a captain in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He plans to attend Northeastern Junior College to major in physical education and pursue his goal of becoming a teacher, coach, and athletic director. Tyler’s dedication to athletics, academics, and leadership reflects the very best of Prairie. We are proud of you, Tyler, and excited to see the impact you will make in the years ahead.

The 9th and 10th graders are finishing their Shakespeare study of "Hamlet" where they have engaged in fencing, reciting soliloquys, poisoning, and, of course, analyzing "The Fate of Ophelia" through art and lyrical comparisons. The themes of this tragedy are truly timeless!

Elementary Running Club- This morning we had over 40 K-5th grade students run or walk the track to start our school day. It was a beautiful morning for it! Go mustangs! 💛

We had the honor of inducting new members into Prairie’s National Honor Society yesterday afternoon.
