Hang on tight, it’s a busy finish!

So much happening as we head into the final weeks of school. Make sure you stay connected through the Prairie Mustangs app, Facebook, or Live Feed to keep up with it all!

The 9th and 10th graders are finishing their Shakespeare study of "Hamlet" where they have engaged in fencing, reciting soliloquys, poisoning, and, of course, analyzing "The Fate of Ophelia" through art and lyrical comparisons. The themes of this tragedy are truly timeless!

SCHEDULE UPDATE:

A last minute High School Track meet was added today in Greeley. The team will leave at 11:50 am this morning. GOOD LUCK TRACKLETES!

Elementary Running Club- This morning we had over 40 K-5th grade students run or walk the track to start our school day. It was a beautiful morning for it! Go mustangs! 💛

Spring Sport Pictures update:

Today is GIRLS (JH + HS) individual pictures. (No worries if your athlete forgot their jersey today, we have that covered)

Boys and team pictures were scheduled for tomorrow, but there is a schedule conflict, and will be rescheduled at a later date.... (TBD)

Tuesday's Double header has been moved back to be played at 3:00 and 5:00 PM....

The First game will START at 3:00.

⚾Come on down to the baseball field Tuesday and cheer on your Mustangs for our Senior's last regular season home game. There will be free hotdogs🌭 and our future Mustang baseballers will be showing off their skills between games! ⚾

We had the honor of inducting new members into Prairie’s National Honor Society yesterday afternoon. These students represent the very best of what it means to be a Mustang, and we’re incredibly proud of them. A special thank you to Mrs. Marick for being our guest speaker and sharing such a meaningful message. Also, a big thank you to their Advisor, Mr. Monheiser.

Schedule change:

The JV game scheduled for tomorrow against Highland has been cancelled. It will NOT be rescheduled.

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we kindly ask families to check their Infinite Campus portal for any outstanding fees (technology, lunch seconds, etc.).

While school meals are free for all students, second servings are not and may result in a balance.

If you need help accessing Infinite Campus, feel free to reach out to Jessica in the office, she’ll get you squared away!

We appreciate your attention to this and your help in getting accounts taken care of before the end of the year.

JUNIOR HIGH TRACK UPDATE!!!

THe JH Track meet on Friday at SedgCo has been CANCELLED. It will NOT be rescheduled.

The Prairie Mustangs 12u baseball team had the opportunity to host Plains Elite out of Merino this evening, and the first game every played in the lights at Prairie! Go Mustangs!! ⚾️

We are proud to celebrate our students who competed at the NJC Math & Science Fair on April 1! Prairie had an incredible showing, with three students placing, including TWO 1st place finishes! 🏆 Way to represent, Mustangs!
