We are proud to celebrate William Nicklas, a Prairie High School senior who has made his mark through humor, academics, and athletics. William has been actively involved in FBLA, FFA, Knowledge Bowl, basketball, baseball, National Honor Society, and concurrent enrollment courses.

William plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is considering several strong institutions, including the University of Wyoming, Colorado School of Mines, Montana State University, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

His determination, work ethic, and commitment to excellence will carry him far. Prairie is proud of you, William, and excited to see what the future holds.

The Mustangs are hitting the road this afternoon to take on the Haxtun Bulldogs. Game time is slated for 3:00 PM, and they will play just one varsity game. Today's game will not be streamed, however, you can follow along on the Gamechanger app, by searching Prairie Varsity Mustangs.

Grades 1 through 8...Sing the National Anthem at a Colorado Rapids Game!

Our students have an exciting chance to sing the National Anthem before the Colorado Rapids vs. Houston Dynamo FC match at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park April 11, 2026- 7:30 PM !

Tickets: Student Performers – $18 (covered by school)| Family – $25 each

If your student would like to participate, please fill out the Google Form by Thursday, March 26 at 3:00 PM to reserve your tickets: [National Anthem Sign Up].

Tickets will be purchased in bulk so families can sit together. Bring cash or check to the school next week to reimburse for your tickets. A practice schedule and detailed timeline will be sent out next week as well to participants.

Parents will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the stadium.

Congratulations to the Prairie Knowledge Bowl team for getting 4th place at State! Cayde, Will, Marcus, Alice, and Amelia competed hard for 2 days through difficult questions and tight competition. We are proud to celebrate Nicole Ludgate, a Prairie High School senior whose leadership, dedication, and heart have made a lasting impact. Nicole has been actively involved in FBLA, Mustang Squad, concurrent enrollment courses, and has served as a High School Volleyball Captain.

Nicole plans to attend Northeastern Junior College before transferring to UNC or CSU to earn her bachelor’s degree and pursue her dream of becoming an elementary teacher.

Her positive spirit and steady determination truly reflect her senior quote: Clarity over confusion and confidence in the path ahead. Prairie is proud of you, Nicole, and excited to see all you accomplish in this next chapter.
