Prairie School District

IT'S GAME DAY in the 80742!

The High School Volleyball team is back on the court today as they welcome in the Hi-Plains Patriots. JV starts at 4:00 this afternoon followed by the Varsity!

GO MUSTANGS!

Better late than never! We had an incredible homecoming week last week. Huge thank you to our student council for all the hard work they put into the week. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 We ended the week with a BIG game against league foe, the Fleming Wildcats. Our volleyball team won in 3 sets. After a 2 hour rain delay, the football team took the field for a 9:05 pm kickoff, and won by 1 point! if you've followed Mustangs football in recent years, you know that for the past two years, we have LOST to Fleming by ONE point. This is always a fun match up! During halftime, Homecoming Queen and Kink were announced. Congratulations to Macie Jaeger + Owen Kilmer or being crowned. 🖤💛

🦷 FREE School Dental Screenings!

Prairie School is once again partnering with the Salud Schools Dental Program! This program provides students with two FREE dental screenings each school year, conveniently done right here at school.

Our first dental screening will be December 15. However, Salud has asked that all permission forms be returned by THIS WEDNESDAY, September 30.

📄 Permission forms are being sent home today with all PK–6th grade students.

If you would like your child to participate, please complete and return the form to the school by Wednesday, September 30.

See you under the Friday night lights! GO MUSTANGS! 🖤💛

Today we took the English classroom to the theatre where we saw "The Outsiders" musical at the Buell Theatre. We were obsessed! Seeing the novel jump from the page to the stage was pure magic. "Do it for Johnny!"
