The wonderful first graders are working hard on learning their sight words with play-doh, spelling with blends, and taking time to make sure their handwriting is amazing! Just ask Harry the Hedgehog…he gets to hang out with the first grader that tries their best handwriting throughout the day!! : )

Last night our Jr. High football team suffered their first loss to a very good Otis team. They will be back on the field on Thursday for a 4:00 game with Weldon Valley. The Volleyball teams will also be playing on Thursday starting with the Jr. High "C" team at 3:15 followed by the "B" and "A". There will then be a "mini" (elementary) game before the JV HS match. The last match of the evening will be the Varsity HS. I need a chain crew for the Jr.High football game on Thursday and 1 more line judge for the JV and Varsity HS matches. The freshman class will have concessions and be serving walking tacos for the meal. If you are involved in volunteering for line judge or chain crew, If I have you on the list you are admitted free and may have a meal at the concessions.
There has been a change in location for the bonfire on Friday. All activities including the cornhole tournament will be held at the fairgrounds. All times and activities will stay the same (see last email), just the location has changed.
Saturday will be the Homecoming football game with a "mini" game first at 12:15. HS game at 1:00 pm I need a chain crew for this game also. The crowning of the King and Queen will happen at half time. The freshman will be doing concessions again and serving cheeseburgers for the meal.
