We can't skip National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day! We love our Deputy Harvey, and we're so grateful he came to us through the Weld County Sheriff's Office this year. Thank you Deputy Harvey for the heart and soul you put in to protecting our kids, staff, and community!!
The FBLA Week fun continues! Yesterday, we celebrated the service pillar of the FBLA experience. The high school/junior high classes partnered up with the elementary classes to make Valentine cards for delivery to residents of local nursing homes. Today, FBLA helped to spread a little love by delivering candy grams to Prairie students along with the Valentine balloon and cotton candy bouquet deliveries!

FBLA Week is here! We kicked off the week with our annual staff appreciation breakfast and some fun-filled activities for Prairie students. Our theme this year is Connect for Success and each day we will celebrate one of the FBLA pillars of success. Today, we celebrated progress. In business and in life, progress often comes with challenges. Junior high and high school students participated in the Connect for Success Challenge during advisory to put their problem solving and critical thinking skills to the test. Congratulations to the junior class for winning the challenge! The elementary students were challenged to complete a connect-the-dot coloring contest. Winning posters are displayed in the main hallway, be sure to check them out!
Changes to tomorrow's games with Lone Star: there will only be Varsity games, so the Girls' Varsity will start at 5pm, followed by Boys' Varsity. Go Mustangs!!

My Senior Community Project involves aiding the people of Belize, who lack basic medical supplies. To this end, we are collecting Band-Aids and Neosporin for the Wiggins Community Church to deliver on its next mission trip.

Support your Mustangs and BLACK OUT the Bulldogs! Come support our JH in their last games for the year, and stay and cheer on our HS Basketball teams as everyone takes on the Otis Bulldogs! Games start at 1:00pm. Concessions are put on by the Junior Class. Go Mustangs!!

Kindergarten and 1st grade will sing the National Anthem opening the girls varsity game. 7th & 8th Grade will perform during the varsity girls halftime show. The Elementary Extravaganza will be during the varsity boys halftime show.

They did it again! Today the knowledge bowl team won the Region 7 meet in the 1A division and placed an astonishing 6th place overall out of 38 teams in ALL classifications! This title earns them a guaranteed trip to the state knowledge bowl in March.
