Freshman have had a busy week! They have begun learning the second paragraph of the Creed! They learned yesterday what the different parts of the emblem represent, how to tie a tie, and today we discussed Official FFA Dress. Students drew the proper way to wear “it” in chalk and developed expectations while in the “jacket”! Here is what they came up with: being respectful, compassionate, helping where and whenever, clean, professional, and the best humans they can!

“A child who reads will be an adult who thinks.” This very special group of million word readers didn’t stop reading by the end of the year; they accepted my challenge to read with me this summer. We loved our book!

We have been reading about trials this week in reading so we had our own trial about the wolf from the 3 little pigs. We had a jury, judge, defendant, attorney, witnesses, and many more parts! The students were all animals from fairytale land. The jury did not reach a verdict as they couldn’t all decide on the same verdict but I think they all had fun learning about this!

Awesome message today Gracie!
