Our Tuesday adventures took us to Laramie, Wyoming for a tour of the University of Wyoming campus. FBLA members spent the afternoon exploring different departments on campus including the anthropology and geology museums, the Williams conservatory, and the 3D CAVE. Special thanks to Mr. Kloberdanz for organizing the tour, Stacy Pollart for driving, and Mr. Monheiser and Mrs. Ramseier for chaperoning.

FBLA members kicked off the holiday week with 2 days of CTE tours. On Monday, we traveled to Black Hawk to tour the Monarch Resort Hotel and Casino where students learned about the hospitality and entertainment management industry. Members were then treated to lunch at the resort buffet! Special thanks to Kevin Davis for driving and to Mrs. Marick and Mrs. Mason for serving as chaperones.

The Prairie Library was excited to have author Rebecca Victor visit and read to the preschool through 6th grade. We all really enjoyed the visit! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

The 3rd grade class finished up their Native American unit with a day of celebration! They made Native American crafts, played games, ate food, listened to my mom share about some artifacts and history, and they shared their Native American research project. What a fun day we had!

Happy Thanksgiving from 5th Grade! Students had a great time building and creating their own Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons! They turned out great and so much creativity! So proud of them!

A few turkeys are safe this Thanksgiving thanks to the creativity of the second graders!!

Good afternoon! Today's afternoon bus routes will be delayed 10-15 minutes as we need to wait on our two CTE groups to return. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
Hello! As we are nearing our Winter Break, we've noticed a few discrepancies on the District's annual school calendar. We will NOT have school on either December 15th or January 5th, which are both Fridays. Please note these dates as the current calendar is confusing! We will post a corrected calendar to the Documents section later today. Thank you!

It seems like October flew by in a whirlwind of Halloween fun, and Prairie FBLA celebrated all month long!
FBLA members kicked off the spooky season by volunteering to be zombie paintball targets at the Pope's Farm Corn Maze.
Members had a great time providing thrills and chills for those souls brave enough to tour our Haunted House during the Boo Bash hosted by the Northeast Weld Drylanders.
We wrapped up the month by hosting a Halloween Spooktacular event for Prairie elementary students. FBLA members treated the elementary students to a fun-filled afternoon of activities including halloween crafts (Kinder & 1st), weird science experiments (2nd & 3rd), and a murder mystery escape room (4th & 5th). The festivities concluded with a costume parade and a Halloween carnival complete with a bouncy house and cotton candy!

We just realized the phone number on the invitations for Veteran's Day is wrong. To RSVP, please call the main line at the school, 970-437-5351. Thank you! And our apologies for any inconvenience!
Basketball season is upon us!! Our JH Boys take on the Wiggins Tigers this afternoon starting at 4:00. As this time of year goes, we are down a few boys, so we will play an altered B Game of 4 minute quarters followed by the A Game at 5:00. Come support our younger Mustangs!!
