Today, we wrapped up the FBLA week festivities by celebrating the education pillar of success. Students of all ages attended the FBLA job fair to learn more about careers in banking, marketing, public service, the oil/gas industry, landscaping, and entrepreneurship. This afternoon, we treated Prairie staff and students to root beer floats to round out a busy week. Thank you to all who participated in the FBLA week activities and a special thanks to the members who worked hard to make this week's activities possible!

Reminder: FAFSA Fiesta tonight! Seniors, we will have MCC representatives at the school to help complete your financial aid applications. Prairie Pride will be serving burritos (donations accepted). Meet in the cafeteria (fiesta table), grab a burrito, and fill out the FAFSA. Wifi will be available if you would like to bring your device. - Mrs. Ramseier

We can't skip National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day! We love our Deputy Harvey, and we're so grateful he came to us through the Weld County Sheriff's Office this year. Thank you Deputy Harvey for the heart and soul you put in to protecting our kids, staff, and community!!

The FBLA Week fun continues! Yesterday, we celebrated the service pillar of the FBLA experience. The high school/junior high classes partnered up with the elementary classes to make Valentine cards for delivery to residents of local nursing homes. Today, FBLA helped to spread a little love by delivering candy grams to Prairie students along with the Valentine balloon and cotton candy bouquet deliveries!

FBLA Week is here! We kicked off the week with our annual staff appreciation breakfast and some fun-filled activities for Prairie students. Our theme this year is Connect for Success and each day we will celebrate one of the FBLA pillars of success. Today, we celebrated progress. In business and in life, progress often comes with challenges. Junior high and high school students participated in the Connect for Success Challenge during advisory to put their problem solving and critical thinking skills to the test. Congratulations to the junior class for winning the challenge! The elementary students were challenged to complete a connect-the-dot coloring contest. Winning posters are displayed in the main hallway, be sure to check them out!
