
Field Day
Students & Parents,
Welcome to the last day of school for our students in grades PK-5th grade. We are in the homestretch. Please see the schedule below for the field day on Tuesday, May 14th.
· We will begin at 8:30 with a short awards assembly for students in elementary.
· The 2019 Prairie Mustang Elementary Track & Field Day will be starting at 9:00 AM.
· Field Events Pre-5th 9:00-11:30 (Gymnasium), Lunch 11:30-12:30, Running Races Pre-5th 12:30-2:00ish, Awards
· Please have your student wear their class Tie-Dye shirt.
· Pre-school – 5th grade will eat at 11:30.
· Parents are invited to have lunch at the school with your student(s).
($3.00 a meal for adults – Mrs. Davis will be collecting money in the lunchroom). Please call Ms. Kendra with your RSVP by Monday, May 13th before 8:30am.
· We look forward to seeing everyone for a great day of track & field! PLEASE HAVE YOUR KIDS DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER, WEAR PROPER SHOES, HAVE ON SUNSCREEN, AND BRING A WATER BOTTLE WITH THEIR NAME ON IT!

The New Raymer FFA had a great day yesterday! We competed at State Career Development events and our students truly did their best!
Ashley S, Andrew L, Montana G, and Isaac D were the State Winning Ag Sales team.
Faye K, Shelby R, Megan A, and Bobbie S placed as a Gold Team.
Amy P placed in the silver category of the Milk Judging Contest.
Alyssa J placed bronze in the Floriculture contest.
It was truly a good day and we are proud of all the members that competed!

The Prairie Mustangs Baseball team will be traveling to Haxtun to take on #5 Granada at 1:00pm on Saturday 5/11.

Bike safety day in the preschool! When it rains outside we improvise!





3rd Grade’s Rain Forest Dioramas- We all love this project and I love seeing all their creativity. They are in display in our classroom hallway and will go home after the program on Thursday. Come see them in person! They are awesome!

Congratulations to our writers and artists!! Our students did well in the Nell Propst Northeast Colorado Historical Essay & Art Contest. Mitch's essay earned 2nd and a $2,000 scholarship. Hannah earned 3rd and $1,000 for her essay. Andrew was recognized with an honorable mention for his essay. Brianna earned an honorable mention for the photograph and cover design that she submitted. We are so proud of these students and the other 13 Mustangs that submitted qualifying entries.

3rd graders designed their own emoji today with sticky notes and then they found the area and perimeter of their emoji. They all did great!





The Cover 4 Theatre is pleased to bring back the “Summer Matinee Series Kids Shows” for 2019. The price for the entire series of 10 movies is Only $15.00. This is a fundraiser with the proceeds going to the New Raymer FBLA and FFA. Tickets can be bought from members of either organization, Mrs. Meece or Mrs. Larson.
The tickets can be bought for Mondays or Tuesdays. Both days show is at 11:00 am or 1:30 pm.
A big thank you to Tiffany Wulf for finding this fundraiser for our student organizations.
