The Class of 2025 cordially invites all elementary students for a Dance-A-Palooza, an extension of the 2024 Prairie High School Prom. We would love to share this fun experience with our younger friends. The memories made in school around friends will last a lifetime!

Our Elementary students have been working hard to learn to dance and socialize with their fellow peers in preparation. Kiddos can dress up or down for this fun experience and dance 6th hour away.

The HS meet at Merino has been canceled. No make up!

Child Find for children ages 3 through 5 years old is part of the public school system in Colorado to identify children suspected of having a delay in development as early as possible.

Child Find is provided at no cost to families and will be held at Prairie School April 17, 2025 from 8am-11am. Please call (970) 437-5351 or email mross@prairieschool.org for more information or to schedule a time-slot.

Each year on April 21st, National Kindergarten Day honors the birthday of the man who started the first Kindergarten. Friedrich Wilhelm August Fröbel (April 21, 1782 - June 21, 1852) is credited with starting the very first Kindergarten in Germany in 1837. Frobel was a German teacher and a student of Johann Pestalozzi.

Each year on April 22nd, National Earth Day campaigns around the globe promote ways to keep the Earth healthy and our planet livable.

During this presentation Prairie Students will have the opportunity to learn about the skill sets needed in the contemporary, advanced automated manufacturing industry. At the intersection of mechanics, electronics, and computing, mechatronics specialists create simpler, smarter systems! Please join us for this presentation in Mr. Monheiser's room.

National Administrative Professionals' Day, also known as Secretaries Day or Admin Day, recognizes the professionals who keep an office running smoothly every day. Celebrate these professionals on the Wednesday of the last full week in April of each year. The day recognizes the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals. Central to any business, these professionals keep an office organized and efficient.

Today, select 8th Grade students will be attending an event hosted by 21st Century Equipment and Gordon Insurance. They will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple workshops to learn a little more about the industry as a whole, and enjoy a lunch provided by Gordon Insurance!

India “Diagonal” Wood May Be the First To Complete the “Colorado X”

Our 5th Grade class will be heading to the ballpark to enjoy a Colorado Rockies game today!

Our Pre-K class will be leaving on an exciting field trip to The Butterfly Pavilion today!

Students will leave around 2:50pm for the meet.

If a student isn't bringing a lunch from home, Mrs. Kelly will send a form home to have one provided by the school.
