Spanish I Upcoming Fieldtrip

Our Prairie Spanish I class will be attending "World Language Day" at the University of Northern Colorado on April 18, 2012. UNC has been sponsoring World Language Day for over 40 years. Their goal is to provide high school students with a unique opportunity to experience world languages and cultures beyond a classroom setting in a fun and educational environment. Spanish, German, Chinese, and French are the languages students compete in this year.


My students will be competing in the following areas:

Animal Reproduction Trip

This year's reproduction trip will be March 6- 9th.  We will be leaving on March 6th at 11:00 am and returning on March 9th in the evening.  We will keep parents informed as to when we will be back for sure.  Below is the trip itinerary; if you have any questions, please contact Miss Lohr.

Listed below are the activities that the chapter has planned for the week:

Monday February 20th: Coloring Contest Handout

Tuesday February 21st: Barnyard Olympics for High School at lunch.

Wednesday February 22nd: Appreciation Breakfast, Official Dress Day, and Coloring Contest Due 7th Period.

FBLA districts was held on Thursday, February 9th, @ NJC in Sterling.  We took all 16 members to compete in competitions with a chance to qualify for state. 

I am proud to say that our members placed very well in their events.  Although not all of them qualified for state, their accomplishments should not be overlooked.
